“Isobel Milne’s Hamlet by the Pool presents an reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s most famous work, thrusting Hamlet’s recognisable characters into the heat of Australian suburbia in the 1960s.
Sarah Bostock and Sophie Chauhan’s Engraft is an experimental work exploring the relationships that both constitute and destabilise womanhood. In the long shadow of literary and cultural traditions, four characters – mother, lover, child and self – grapple with the instability of their identity.”
